1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how ClassZ ("ClassZ", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you access or use the ClassZ platform, including our website, mobile application, subscription services, credit system ("Zing"), booking features, feedback tools, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy applies to parents, guardians, centres, coaches, and other users of the Platform and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

2. Compliance with Law

ClassZ complies with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong) ("PDPO"). We collect and process personal data in accordance with the data protection principles under the PDPO, including lawful purpose, data minimisation, transparency, security, and retention limitation.

3. Types of Personal Data We Collect

3.1 Parent Account Data

We may collect: • Name • Email address • Phone number • Location (district or region level) • Account identifiers • Payment and subscription status (no full card numbers stored)

3.2 Child Profile Data

Child data is provided solely by parents or legal guardians. We may collect: • Child's name • Hong Kong Identity Card number (or equivalent identifier) • Date of birth • School name • SEN indication (if voluntarily provided) • Emergency contact number • Class enrolment records • Attendance records • Class-related feedback and insights • Photos or media uploaded by centres in relation to attended classes ClassZ does not independently verify child data and relies on information provided by parents and centres.

3.3 Centre Owner and Coach Data

We may collect: • Name • Email address • Phone number • Hong Kong Identity Card number • Professional background, qualifications, or accreditations (if submitted) • Centre ownership or control information • Business registration details (where applicable) • Criminal conviction record declarations or equivalents (for individual educators, where permitted by law) • Account activity and platform usage records

3.4 Transaction and Technical Data

We may collect: • Booking records • Payment status • Zing credit balances and usage • Refund and voucher history • Device information • IP address • Log files and usage analytics

4. Purpose of Data Collection and Use

We collect and use personal data for the following purposes: • Account registration and identity verification • Class discovery, enrolment, scheduling, and attendance tracking • Payment processing and subscription management • Operation of the Zing credit system • Generation and display of class-related feedback and insights • Platform communication and customer support • Safeguarding, fraud prevention, and compliance checks • Platform improvement, analytics, and service optimisation • Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations Personal data will not be used for purposes unrelated to the Platform without consent, unless required or permitted by law.

5. Feedback, Insights, and Character Profiles

Feedback, ratings, charts, summaries, trends, and character profiles displayed on the Platform are: • Generated from third-party service provider input and automated aggregation; • Provided for informational and reflective purposes only; • Not diagnostic, predictive, evaluative, or professional assessments. ClassZ does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, developmental, or educational advice and does not determine a child's abilities, personality, behaviour, or future outcomes.

6. Special Educational Needs (SEN) Data

SEN-related data is: • Provided voluntarily by parents; • Used solely to assist centres and coaches where possible; • Not verified, certified, or guaranteed by ClassZ. "SEN-friendly" tags are self-declared by centres and do not constitute endorsement or assurance of suitability.

7. Photos and Media Content

Photos or media uploaded by centres or coaches in relation to classes: • may include individual photos of a child or group/class photos taken during class activities; • may incidentally display multiple students attending the same class; • are associated only with classes in which the child is enrolled. By enrolling a child in a class and using the Platform, parents or legal guardians acknowledge and consent to: • the capture and upload of class-related photos or media by centres or coaches; and • the display of such photos or media within the Platform, including where a child may appear in group or class photos visible to other parents of enrolled students. ClassZ does not use such photos or media for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes unless separate consent is obtained. Photos and media are visible only to authorised users (such as parents or guardians of enrolled students) and are used solely for class-related documentation and feedback. Parents may request the removal of specific photos or media by contacting customer support. Requests will be reviewed and handled in accordance with applicable laws and operational requirements.

8. Payment Processing

Photos or media uploaded by centres or coaches in relation to classes: • may include individual photos of a child or group/class photos taken during class activities; • may incidentally display multiple students attending the same class; • are associated only with classes in which the child is enrolled. By enrolling a child in a class and using the Platform, parents or legal guardians acknowledge and consent to: • the capture and upload of class-related photos or media by centres or coaches; and the display of such photos or media within the Platform, including where a child may appear in group or class photos visible to other parents of enrolled students. All payments are processed through third-party payment service providers, such as Stripe. ClassZ does not store full credit card numbers or sensitive payment credentials. Payment providers process personal data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable laws.

9. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share personal data only as necessary with: • Centres and coaches for enrolment, attendance, and class delivery; • Payment processors for transaction processing; • Technology service providers supporting platform operations; • Law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to: • Fulfil the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy; • Comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, or reporting obligations; • Resolve disputes or enforce agreements. Child data and account data may be deleted or anonymised upon account closure, subject to legal retention requirements.

11. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no system is completely secure, and users acknowledge that data transmission over the internet carries inherent risks.

12. User Rights

Subject to the PDPO, users may: • Request access to their personal data; • Request correction of inaccurate data; • Request deletion or restriction of data, where applicable. Requests should be submitted through the Platform or customer support and may require identity verification.

13. Children's Privacy

ClassZ relies on parents or legal guardians to provide consent for the collection and use of child data. Parents are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of information submitted on behalf of their children.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of data collection will apply unless otherwise required by law. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
