1. Introduction
Welcome to ClassZ (the "Platform"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ClassZ platform, including our website, mobile application, subscription services, credits system ("Zing"), booking features, feedback tools, and related services.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
2. Platform Role and Scope
ClassZ is a technology platform that facilitates class discovery, enrolment, payment processing, scheduling, and the organization and display of class-related information and feedback provided by third-party service providers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, ClassZ:
• Is not a school, education centre, or training provider;
• Does not provide educational, instructional, developmental, psychological, medical, or professional services;
• Does not employ, supervise, or control centres, coaches, or other service providers.
From time to time, ClassZ may offer its own programs or services. Where ClassZ acts as a service provider, such services will be clearly identified and may be subject to separate or additional terms.
3. Account Types
termsPage.sections.section3.content
3.1 Parent Accounts
Parent accounts are intended for parents or legal guardians enrolling children into classes.
By creating a parent account, you represent and warrant that:
• You are at least 18 years old;
• You are the parent or legal guardian of each child for whom you create a profile;
• You have full authority to provide personal data relating to your child.
3.2 Child Profiles
Parents may create multiple child profiles under one parent account. Each child may have only one profile.
Child profiles are used solely for:
• Class enrolment;
• Schedule management;
• Display of class-related feedback.
ClassZ does not create, verify, or assess child profiles and relies on information provided by parents and centres.
3.3 Centre Owner Accounts
Centre owners are service providers who list and operate classes on the Platform.
Centre owners may create and manage multiple centres and are responsible for submitting accurate, complete, and lawful information about their centres.
3.4 Coach Accounts
Coach accounts are sub-accounts associated with a centre and are dependent on centre approval.
Coaches are not employees or agents of ClassZ. Centre owners are solely responsible for the acts, omissions, qualifications, and conduct of their coaches.
4. Vendor Responsibilities and Conduct
termsPage.sections.section4.content
4.1 Centre and Coach Responsibility
Each centre owner is solely responsible for:
• The accuracy of listings and schedules;
• The delivery and quality of classes;
• The conduct, qualifications, and compliance of all coaches, managers, and personnel;
• Compliance with all applicable laws, safeguarding obligations, and professional standards.
No coach, manager, or centre personnel shall be deemed an employee, agent, or representative of ClassZ.
4.2 Vetting and Review
Any review, verification, or vetting conducted by ClassZ is performed solely for platform access purposes and does not constitute certification, endorsement, or assurance of quality, safety, or suitability.
5. Listings, Schedules, and Minimum Student Numbers
termsPage.sections.section5.content
5.1 Listings and Price Lock
Once a class or program has at least one confirmed enrolment, the listing details, schedule, and price are locked and may not be changed.
If no enrolment has been made, centres may cancel or re-list programs freely.
5.2 Minimum Student Requirement
• Some classes may require a minimum number of students to proceed, as specified by the relevant centre.
• The minimum student requirement is assessed twenty-four (24) hours before the first scheduled session.
• If the minimum number of students is not met, the centre may cancel the program up to the 24-hour cutoff.
• If the centre does not cancel the program by the 24-hour cutoff:
→ The program will automatically proceed as scheduled;
→ The program is deemed confirmed;
→ The centre may not cancel the program or any affected sessions on the basis of minimum student numbers once the program has started.
• If a program is cancelled due to minimum student numbers within the permitted timeframe:
→ Parents will receive refunds in accordance with the Refund Policy.
5.3 Schedule Rearrangements
Only schedule rearrangements submitted through and recorded on the Platform are recognised.
Centres may not unilaterally change class schedules.
Schedule changes require prior approval by ClassZ and are granted only in limited circumstances, such as emergencies or safety concerns.
If an approved rearrangement occurs and a parent cannot attend the new schedule:
• the affected session will be fully refunded;
• the centre will not receive payment for that session.
If a class is not delivered as scheduled without approval, the incident is treated as centre responsibility and may result in refunds, penalties, suspension, or termination.
6. Pricing, Fees, and Payments
termsPage.sections.section6.content
6.1 Pricing Structure
Centres set a base price for their programs. ClassZ applies a platform markup and displays the final price payable by parents before checkout.
A fixed platform fee may apply per transaction and is waived for eligible subscribers.
6.2 Zing Credits and Subscriptions
Zing credits:
• Are platform-specific;
• Have no cash value;
• Are non-transferable;
• May be used for multiple children under the same parent account;
• Do not expire except upon account closure.
Subscription plans are billed via a connected credit card through third-party payment processors.
Unused credits are forfeited upon account closure.
6.3 Payments and Refund Method
All payments are processed via third-party payment processors.
Refunds are issued in the form of Zing credits or vouchers only and are not redeemable for cash or credit card refunds.
Platform fees are non-refundable.
7. Attendance and Feedback
termsPage.sections.section7.content
7.1 Attendance Verification
Performance feedback is contingent upon recorded attendance through the Platform's attendance verification mechanism.
If attendance is not verified, no feedback will be generated.
7.2 Nature of Feedback and Insights
Feedback, ratings, charts, summaries, trends, and character profiles are generated from third-party service provider input and automated aggregation.
These features are provided for informational and reflective purposes only.
ClassZ does not assess, diagnose, evaluate, predict, or determine a child's abilities, development, personality, behaviour, or future outcomes.
The methodologies and categorizations used are not based on standardized or evidence-based assessment frameworks.
7.3 No Professional Advice
Nothing on the Platform constitutes educational, psychological, psychiatric, medical, developmental, or professional advice.
Parents remain solely responsible for interpreting and using any information displayed.
7.4 Delayed or Missing Feedback
Feedback is provided solely by centres and coaches.
Failure to provide feedback within a stated timeframe does not invalidate the class or entitle parents to a full refund.
ClassZ may, at its discretion, offer a partial coupon or voucher as a goodwill measure. Any such compensation is non-cash, non-transferable, and determined on a case-by-case basis.
8. Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Any SEN-related information is provided voluntarily by parents to assist service providers where possible.
SEN indicators and "SEN-friendly" tags are self-declared by centres and do not constitute certification, endorsement, or a guarantee of suitability or accommodation.
9. Refunds and Protected Booking
Refunds, cancellations, and compensation are governed by the Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Any "Protected Booking" benefits are subject to eligibility criteria, verification, and time limits and do not constitute an unconditional guarantee.
In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and the Refund Policy, the Refund Policy shall prevail.
10. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, software, designs, and trademarks belong to ClassZ or its licensors.
Users grant ClassZ a non-exclusive license to use content they submit solely for Platform operation.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClassZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the Platform.
ClassZ is not liable for the acts or omissions of centres, coaches, or other third parties.
12. Indemnity
Centre owners agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClassZ from any claims arising from the conduct of their centres, coaches, or personnel.
13. Suspension and Termination
ClassZ reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts or listings for violations of these Terms, safeguarding concerns, or legal risk.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
